What is FLUX Beamo?
beamo is a small desktop CO2 laser cutter and engraver. It features a powerful 30-watt CO2 laser, that can cut and engrave on organic materials and even engrave select metal. With its revolutionary design and intuitive user interface, you’re just steps away from having fun making amazing things.

What is the warranty?
We provide a 12-month warranty for Flux Beamo and 3-month warranty for the laser. If you’ve encountered an issue, please contact our technical staff, so we can determine a suitable fix. Parts and tutorials will be provided if needed, and for the cost of shipping.
What is the size of the work area on Flux Beamo?
The Flux Beamo offers a work area of 11.8” x 8.2” x 1.7“ (30 cm x 21 cm x 4.5 cm). It includes a honeycomb tray that fits materials up to 1.18” (3 cm) thick. You can also remove or adjust the tray to work with materials up to 3.15” (8 cm) thick.
Does the Flux Beamo come with a honeycomb cutting platform?
Yes, the Flux Beamo includes a detachable honeycomb platform. Removing it gives you an extra 22mm of vertical space. With the optional open-bottom kit, you can work with materials of any thickness.
What’s the wattage of the Flux Beamo laser tube?
The Flux Beamo uses a powerful 30W CO₂ laser tube that operates at a wavelength of 10,640 nm.
What materials can the Flux Beamo cut and engrave?
The Flux Beamo can cut and engrave wood, leather, cardboard, acrylic, rubber, food, and more. It can also engrave anodised aluminium and stainless steel using a special coating, but it cannot cut metal.
Can the Flux Beamo cut thicker than the standard 5mm cutting depth?
Yes, the 5mm limit is for a single pass at average speed. The Flux Beamo can cut thicker materials if you slow down the speed or run multiple passes.
Can the Flux Beamo cut metal?
The Flux Beamo isn’t powerful enough to cut metal, but it can engrave anodised aluminium and stainless steel with the help of FLUX’s specialised stainless steel coating.
What is the FLUX stainless steel coating used with the Flux Beamo?
The FLUX stainless steel coating allows the Flux Beamo to engrave on stainless steel. Apply the coating to the metal before engraving for long-lasting, high-contrast results.
Does the camera on the Flux Beamo cover the full work area?
The Flux Beamo’s built-in camera covers almost the full work area, missing only about 1cm along the top edge. Check the full specifications for detailed dimensions.
Where should I place my Flux Beamo machine?
The Flux Beamo produces smoke and fumes while cutting, so it’s best to place it in a well-ventilated area. Always use the included exhaust hose to vent outside.
How do I vent the Flux Beamo?
The Flux Beamo is equipped with an air pump and a powerful exhaust system. The air pump reduces the risk of flames, and the exhaust fan removes smoke and fumes through the provided vent hose.
What safety features does the Flux Beamo have?
The Flux Beamo includes safety features such as lid-open detection and an emergency stop. However, it's always safest to stay nearby while the machine is operating.
What maintenance is required for the Flux Beamo?
